Raymond G. Lahoud, Esq., Member of Norris McLaughlin & Marcus, P.A., and Chair of its Immigration Law Group, is pleased to present “Form I-9: Completing, Common Mistakes, Employer Compliance, and Increasing Fines and Enforcement,” for Somerset County Business Partnership’s Human Resources Roundtable Group on Wednesday, November 15, from 9 AM to 10:30 AM.

The roundtable is co-hosted by Keya C. Denner, Esq., Member of Norris McLaughlin & Marcus, P.A., and its Labor & Employment Practice Group, and Joni Ur, President of People Management, Inc.  The group provides an opportunity to discuss hot topics with an experienced employment law attorney and other experts in an informal setting that allows participants to grow as professionals and add value to their business at the same time.  It is meant for human resources professionals responsible for overseeing personnel issues within their companies, seeking a local support system of peers, hoping to stay ahead of the constantly evolving, complex labor and employment laws and regulations.

A resident of Pennsylvania, Lahoud focuses his practice exclusively on immigration law and deportation defense for individuals and corporations.  Lahoud has received numerous accolades.  He has been awarded the Empire State Pro Bono Counsel Award each year since 2012, has been selected as Lead Counsel, and has been named a Super Lawyers Rising Star, ranked as a Top Rated Immigration Attorney in the New York Metro Area.  Lahoud earned his B.A. in English, summa cum laude, from Lehigh University and his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.

Denner, a resident of Boonton, devotes his practice to labor and employment law, executive compensation, and commercial litigation.  In 2017, Denner was named New Leader of the Bar by New Jersey Law Journal, and in 2016 and 2017, he was included on the Employment & Labor list of New Jersey Rising Stars, published by Super Lawyers Magazine.  He serves on the Board of Trustees of the Community Visiting Nurse Association, where he is chair of the By-Laws Committee and a member of the Personnel Committee.  He is a past co-chair of the Labor and Employment Section of the Somerset County Bar Association.  He also sits on the Personnel Committee for the YMCA of Metuchen, Edison, Woodbridge, and South Amboy.  Denner earned his J.D., cum laude, from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2004 and his B.A., cum laude, from Boston University in 2000.
